Course Overview
The Home-Based Personal Care Assistant course (SAQA ID – 104779) is designed to equip learners with the essential skills and knowledge to provide compassionate, professional care to individuals in need within home-based settings. This nationally recognized qualification focuses on supporting the elderly, people with disabilities, and those recovering from illnesses.

Internship Requirement
This programme requires that the student undertakes an internship for a minimum period of 6 months in relevant industry after completing the in-class academic study. There is an opportunity for job placement assistance through our industry network after graduating depending on availability.
Qualification Obtainable
On completion of the program, student will receive an Occupational Certificate: Home Based Personal Care Assistant provided the practical and experiential learning has been observed.
