Recognition of prior learning
When applying to HBC, remember that HBC will consider your previous learning if you have any. Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is the identification, assessment and acknowledgment of an individual’s skills and knowledge within the context of a specific qualification, irrespective of how and where they have been acquired. It is the acknowledgment of skills, competencies, knowledge, and work ethos obtained through informal training, on-the-job experience, and life experience when measured against specific learning outcomes.
